Enough with the frustration! You know…
* When your kid wants to play ball with you but you just don’t have the energy?
* When you have to climb up the stairs because the elevator broke down, and you feel like your heart is going to come out of your mouth?
* Or even when you love that very special trendy dress (or suit) but once you try them on they’re way too tight and you feel ridiculous?
Well, I’ve been there! I know exactly how it feels. In fact, I used to feel like this too often. Until I said: “Enough!”, and decided to start living the 5K Runner LifeStyle!!!
“If you don’t like how things are, change it! You’re not a tree.” – Jim Rohn
“But why 5K?” you may ask. 5K corresponds to approximately 3.11mi. So, it’s not too short (that you feel like this is not even an exercise) nor too long. For me, it’s the perfect distance, the one I run comfortable and yet I feel the results in my body.
But of course, if you prefer running longer (or shorter) distances, no problem. The important thing here is that you feel okay with your choice and work on it. That’s the beauty of being a runner: 5K, marathons, half-marathons, it really doesn’t matter, we’re all addicted to the joy of movement!
It feels amazing to be fit, alive, and full of energy! And that’s exactly why I decided to create this website. My mission is to give you all the information, tips, knowledge I gained from researching books, magazines, specialized studies, and my own experiences, that helped me enjoy this incredible new world of healthy living.
You will soon see that it doesn’t have to be painful or boring.
On the contrary, it can actually be pretty fun, if you use some techniques I’ll show you throughout the site.
So, come along! Go through my posts, comment on whichever you feel like, and share your experiences with me as well. I’ll be more than happy to give you my opinions on any certain subject or product.
I do post frequently so stop by often, and check out the most recent info I bring to you.
Now, go on to Before You Start Running 5K and check the first steps you should take.
